Currents Of Chaos

Scripture

The waves of death engulfed me, the currents of chaosoverwhelmed me.

Quote

God has a plan and He is in control.

~Charles Stanley

Charles Stanley says, “It is natural to feel fearful and anxious when everything appears chaotic. No one likes feeling that things are out of control. We all want a firm place to stand and something to hold on to.” I don’t know about you but Charles certainly knows how I feel. You talk about chaos: we have a president that doesn’t know his own name. He is either a great actor or else he is in the advanced stages of dementia and no one, not at our level, knows who is running the country. It’s not just the uncertainty of not knowing who is calling the shots; it is the insanity of the shots being called. Shutting down pipe lines and refineries to push the price of gas upward, paying people not to work, opening up the borders to whomever: it is one insanity after another. I wake up wondering: what will these idiots do today? I know they are trying to destroy the REPUBLIC but at this rate, they are going to destroy everything. Amidst all this chaos, confusion, and fool hardy policies, how can we have any hope about the future?

Let’s go back a couple of thousand years to the trial and crucifixion of Jesus. What if you or I had been in town that weekend and witnessed the chaos and confusion surrounding the death of Jesus. First of all, you are talking about a public execution for a man who has never sinned; a man no one could find fault with. Then there is the kangaroo court that meets in the middle of the night which was a violation of the courts own rules. How do you think the disciples felt or the family and friends of Jesus felt? Do you think they could make sense of what was going on? Where they mumbling, “God has a plan and He is working the plan?” Do you think that Peter or John told the others, “God has this, so don’t worry. This is all a part of His redemption plan.” No, no, no; all the disciples were shaken to the core. They didn’t have a clue as to what God was doing. They were like blind men in a room full of furniture, bumping into one item after another and not knowing what would trip them up next. Bluntly, it was mass confusion.

Now in hindsight, we see clearly that God was in control the entire time and He was working for our good and His glory. The democrats are not in control and neither is the media but that isn’t the way it appears. Money talks! Whether we want to admit it or not, money is power and the left has money. The first Republican Party meeting I attended was back in 1980 at a restaurant in Decatur. There was me, one lawyer and then a room filled with millionaires. The Republican’s were knows for big money but things have drastically changed. The Republicans are still millionaires but the democrats are billionaires. They have the money to buy elections, which of course is what they did but their little kingdom is a house of cards and it will fall. God’s kingdom is coming to earth. May not be in my life time, but it is coming.

Cloudy and cool this morning and some scattered showers on the radar. A good day to study. I hope you have a great weekend. Thanks for reading the blog!
