What on earth is DEI? Briefly, this trilogy stands for DIVERSITY, EQUITY, and INCLUSION and it comes from the Cultural Marxist play book. It is a sister to CRT, Critical Race Theory. It demands preferential treatment to those who belong to a certain class, race, sexual identity regardless of their competency. In this system, people are rewarded on the basis of group identity. Don’t brush this off or take it lightly, the left has put it into play. The US Navy sent a memo to all their officers. It went like this…”Invest the time, and empathy required to analyze and evaluate Navywide issues related to racism, sexism, ableism and other structural and interpersonal biases. Advocate for all lived experiences and intersectional identities of every sailor in the Navy.” This means, among other things that the Navy will promote people of the basis of their personal experience {lesbian, feminist, gay, transgender] rather than on competency. This is insane. It can do nothing other than weaken the Navy and if it is not corrected, DEI will destroy every branch of the military. The only reason for promoting anyone in any branch of the military is merit and competency. Can you imagine what kind of Marine you would get if a lesbian was the drill instructor? DEI is pure Cultural Marxism designed to destroy our institutions.

It is not hard to debunk their theory. Try applying DEI to football, college or professional. Competition is evil to the left and DEI advocates–we must eliminate all competition because it is built upon competency. College football coaches don’t care what color your skin is: if you are their best inside linebacker, you will play. DEI says, “You cannot have an all-white team…that is racism, but neither can you have an all-black team. Diversity and inclusion mean there must be an equal representation of all oppressed minorities. You can have six black players, but you have to have an Asian, Hispanic, one handy capped player, one gay and one transgender. You don’t have to have any white players because they are the oppressors and are inherently racist. This is how insane these leftish policies that Biden is enforcing on our military are. If you take a football team based on diversity and inclusion on the field, you are going to get your brains beaten out.

Don’t laugh, they have not taken over sports yet, but they have education. They are doing away with competency and competition is education. They are engineering a new math where 2+2 is not always four. I kid you not. In their twisted world, there can be no objective truth. Math, music and poetry or exact sciences; you are either right or wrong. There is only one answer to 2+2 and that is four, all other answers are wrong. It lends itself to both correctness, competency and competition and we cannot have that because it is racist. “Lived Experience” is the new truth and that means you define the truth not some objective power outside of your own personality. White people are inherent racist because we are privileged and because we have never experience racism, we do not know what it feels like to be excluded, rejected, mistreated. This makes white people blind to the subjective truth that the oppressed groups are feeling.

Again, to illustrate their stupidity and the absurdity of such an ideology, let suppose a person hires on at the bank, your bank and you go to make a withdrawal and he/she or Shim tells you: “I am sorry but my records show you have more in your account than I think you need and I am not giving you a dime, I am going to give your money to someone who has much less than you do.” Do you really think this will work. I want competent people at my bank who are guided by objective truth: they believe that 2+2=4 and it is wrong to steal. The federal government has already put DEI into practice. The IRS is the thief and now they are giving them guns. Their intention is to take our retirement accounts and give them to those who don’t have one. Bob Hope said, “I love to see congress clapping their hands. It’s the only time I can be assured, their hands are not in my pocket.” Karl Marx taught that man was basically good, the only problem being the rich and powerful who oppress the lower classes. He, nor the left believe that all men are sinners which is why man can determine for himself what is truth. The entire thing is flawed from top to bottom.

We had that two weeks of cold weather in November, but December has been mild, that will change. At least we have sunshine today. Jimmy Grammer passed away a couple of night ago. Jimmy died in his sleep. He was the starting center Bear Bryant his junior and senior year at Alabama. In the 1966 Hartselle/Athen game, Jimmy had 17 solo tackles and I don’t know how many assists and he their center on offense was also. He beat Athens single handedly. I think the final score was 13-7. I may be wrong about the score. I got to know Jimmy due to him marrying a Danville girl. I tried to get him to talk about his days at Alabama but he didn’t want to talk about it. I did get one Bear Bryant story out of him. Our sympathy to Sharron and the kids. I saw Jimmy two weeks ago, had a short visit in their home. I had no idea this was coming.
