Exalted On High

Scripture

Clap your hands, all peoples, acclaim God with shouts of joy. For Yahweh, the Most High, is glorious, the great King over all the earth.

~Psalms 47:1, Jerusalem Bible

Quote

Our God is in heaven and does what He pleases: He serves no man and is ruled by no power other than His sovereign will.

~Ya’akov

I cannot lie, the election was upsetting. I prayed for a landslide but my prayers were not answered and I was upset. I was rather confident that God would do as I ask but not necessarily because I was asking: I believe millions of Christians were praying the same prayer. Truth be known, we probably won but we will never know the truth this side of heaven; just like we’ve never been told the truth about the Kennedy assassination. I would bet my life that Lee Harvey Oswald didn’t act alone. I struggled with the disappointment of the election for at least two weeks and then one day during my QT, God gave me peace. I am convinced that He is in absolute control.

When I read this Psalm the other day, I almost broke into a shout. The Hebrews referred to God as the Most High and the last line of Psalm 47 reads…God is exalted on high. What did the Hebrews mean by the term Most High? Well, it means there is no one higher. I may be wrong but I think there are six levels in our court system [three within the state and three federal]. Of course we all know that the Supreme Court is as high as you can go. There is no court of appeals after the Supreme Court. Yahweh is the Supreme Judge and the Supreme Ruler of everything in the universe. He is the true Supreme Court; there is no one above Him to appeal to. What about these yahoo’s who think they are in charge? They are under a delusion. They will die and turn to dust while Yahweh will remain forever on His throne. He is in charge alright and He is using the dems and covid to work His plan. What we are about to face may humble us, get us praying, seeking God’s face and turning from our sin; then we can honestly cry out for REVIVAL.

Sorry about the late blog. I have a new computer and it is not idiot proof. You wouldn’t be getting this blog if Mandy had not talked me through the problem. My first prayer for the week is no bad news. All I have to say is that GOD IS GOOD and His GRACE IS AMAZING. My heart goes out to all these widows who have been separated from their life mate {6 in the last 6 months and three in the last two weeks}. I also want to praise the LORD for Him giving me the health to help in all but one. I had covid with Johnny was promoted. He comforts me not to make me comfortable but to enable me to comfort others. I do not despise my calling. I am very grateful to be one of God’s servants. Today, I’ve been sending up one THANK YOU prayer after another. I cannot thank HIM enough for what He has done for me.
