Our victory is in Jesus, and it takes faith to appropriate this victory. One thing is certain: no human can live the Christ life. No one can imitate the life that Jesus lived–no one. It is true that Jesus came to seek and save the lost; to die a vicarious death in our behalf but He also came to live the life we cannot live–a perfect life free of sin. It is a fact that some people are better than others morally speaking. Growing up, I got into everything. There are not many things that I did not do or attempt to do but I knew others who never did those things and it seemed to me that they were not even tempted. I had one friend who never used foul language of any kind. I marveled at his self-control. When it comes to making mistakes and fouling up; I seem to have a gift and I am haunted by regrets over the stupid things that I have done. Now that is how I see myself but according to scripture, it is not how God sees me.
Paul said in Colossians one, Yet now he has reconciled you to Himself through the death of Christ in His physical body. As a result, He has brought you into His own presence, and you are holy and blameless as you stand before Him without a single fault. Wow, what a wonderful verse! Jude, the brother of our LORD said, Now all glory to God, who is able to keep you from falling away and will bring you with great joy into His glorious presence without a single fault. Paul said to the Ephesians, Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in His eyes…. He did this to present her to Himself as a glorious church without a spot or wrinkle or any other blemish. Instead, she will be holy and without fault. How is this possible? If I see my sin and you see my sin, how is it that God doesn’t see my sin? It is by His choice: He chooses not to see our sin. He has put us in Christ and when He sees us, He sees Christ and His righteousness. When you get a letter in the mail, you don’t see the letter, you see the envelop. The letter is hidden inside the envelop. We are enveloped in Christ. As great as our sin is–His grace is infinitely greater.
No one is their right mind wants God to see their good works. Our salvation is not in our good works. Our good works would be the source of our damnation because we do them in competition with Christ. Our motives are selfish and vain. We are trying to rob Christ of His rightful glory. No, we want God to see Jesus work in our behalf and according to scripture, that is exactly what He sees. Literally, our victory is in Jesus. The proper response is to thank Him, love Him and praise Him.

Well, it appears that Summer is going to go out with a flare. It was hot yesterday, and they say we have two more days. I think Fall officially begins tomorrow.
It is my understanding that Ashley stayed with Gregg in Memphis and Kerri and Traci came home. Gregg and Ashley will come as soon as they get Gregg’s BP stabilized. Ashley says that Gregg is saying he had a vision and saw Elvis. Sounds like the Gregg we all know and love.
Someone sent me a video clip yesterday that was very enjoyable. I don’t know how to share but I can give you the info to find it.
British royals expert Hilary Fordwich stunned CNN anchor Don Lemon into silence with her argument that African slave owners owe “reparations” rather than the British Empire, in a viral clip from CNN’s coverage of the death of the queen.
Conservatives on Twitter found the clip hilarious, as it depicted Lemon getting swift pushback for trying to promote the narrative that the British crown owes reparations for slavery.
Observers noted Lemon meekly switching topics without protest after Fordwich’s unexpected response. Liberals are not very intelligent. You would think they would study history before making fools of themselves. Hilary nailed this misinformed dupe.
