Overthrowing The Righteous

Scripture

It is not good to show partiality to the wicked, Or to overthrow the righteous in judgment.

~Proverbs 18:5, NKJV

God sees the thoughts and motives of every human being.

~Ray dis Comfort

God is no respecter of persons. He does not have favorites–He is in fact, perfectly impartial. You cannot say this about any human being: we are all partial. Unlike us, God is not impressed with gold medals, gold watches or even gold bullion. God is not impressed with human accomplishment, prowess, popularity, possessions or even power. Your four bedroom house with three baths doesn’t impress Him at all and neither does your wardrobe. Jesus was never impressed by the rich; the only people who impressed Him were those who had incredible faith. We humans are easily impressed by all the wrong things. The NASB translates Proverbs 18:5, To show partiality to the wicked is not good, Nor to thrust aside the righteous in judgment. In my opinion, this is exactly what happened in our last election. Partiality was shown to the wicked and the righteous was thrust aside. When the wicked rule, the people groan.{Proverbs 29:2}

Right now, the wicked are in power and we are groaning. Most of you can’t remember the days of Jimmy Carter but I can. Carter was inept, fearful and incompetent but at least he had his faculties. He was incompetent but not totally incompetent: Biden is a joke. The man doesn’t have enough sense to run his own home let alone a nation. I don’t know who is calling the shots but whoever it is, they are making one horrible decision after another. We know one thing for sure, the Democratic Party is responsible for most of this insanity and I have little respect for those who support them. Christians need only one issue to make a value judgment concerning the democrats and that is abortion. The dems are for killing babies and that is all that needs to be said to a true believer.

EXTRA

Our friends who have been battling covid {on both sides of the county} are better PTL. Ty and Chloe have been sick but I think they are better. I can’t get over the game last night. We were a little anxious about Ryder playing varsity as a freshman but he did great last night. When Rod told us he would be starting at tackle, we didn’t believe him. I think Falkville’s best player got injured early in the game and I am sure that made a difference but the Danville O-Line had an outstanding game. We heard “Another Holly Reeves first down” forty times. Little Big Mama is in a volleyball tournament today. I have some yards to cut and then I am going to try to make a VB game or two. Have a great weekend and thanks for reading the blog.
