I know very, very little about the Revelation of Jesus Christ, and its usually the last book I read when I read through the Bible. When I came across the verse above in my reading the other day; I had some thoughts that I have not had prior. I never dreamed I would live to see the day that cash was unacceptable, but I have. Cash is no good at hotels and motels. It is no good at ball parks. Trust me, they will not take cash. I eat at fast food joints on a regular basis and I have noticed people handing a card for payment. I see them in front of me at check outs using a card for a small purchase and I think to myself, “What is the world coming to?” One of the goals of the democratic/marxist party is a cashless society. I don’t know about you, but to me this is a little unnerving. I see more Big Brother control with a cashless society.

I do realize that I can not impede biblical prophecy and I know the digital society it is coming but I am praying that it is not here yet. My point is this: fifty years ago, which I can recall easier than I can yesterday, talking about a cashless society seems like science fiction–not any more. He may be just around the corner. Does this have anything to do with the mark of the beast? I don’t know and I don’t trust the people who think they know.

Big Brother is code for Federal Government in George Orwell’s 1984. Big Brother is getting bigger; we got to get him on a diet. Patrick Henry was a prophet. He feared the growth of the federal government. In the beginning each state was sovereign and the federal government had little power. We should have kept it that way.

Got a late start this morning and spent too much time looking at hurricane news. I don’t know if we are going to get any rain from this one or not but thank God for what we got Tuesday night and yesterday morning. It is going to be warm today [80*].
