Obviously, I believe that God is sovereign: I believe that He is in ultimate control. But I also believe He created man and gave him responsibilities that He gave to no other creature. Genesis 1:26 reads…Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.” The Hebrew word translated ‘rule over’ by the NIV and NASB is translated ‘dominion over’ in the AV and ‘reign over’ by the NLT. Adam was created to be a governor over God’s creation. God, the Creator of all the animals, allowed Adam to name them. The hyper-Calvinist tear their robes and throw ashes in the air when I talk about man’s limited sovereignty. There is no such thing they proclaim. If God is sovereign, how can man also be sovereign. It is simple; man is sovereign where God allows him to be and that is all. We were created to have dominion and we blew it when we sinned but before everything is said and done, God is going to give our dominion back and once again, we will rule. I have no idea what we will someday rule but I do know the bible speaks of our ruling and reigning in the future. Paul said that we would one day judge angels and he also said, “If we suffer with Christ, we will reign with Christ.”
You must understand this: we are destined to fulfill God’s plan and every aspect of that plan involves Jesus. There is no way under heaven that you and I will reign over anything a part from HIM. So if you have this idea that you can build your own little kingdom, forget it. God already has a plan and He is working the plan and Jesus is at the heart and center of the plan. I can explain the Revelation in two words–Jesus Triumphs. In the end, Jesus is going to win? Right now the demons are having a field day, everything seems to be going their way but they have made a tragic mistake–no conspiracy against the sovereign Father of our LORD Jesus Christ is going to succeed. There is no human wisdom, power or plan that can make such a conspiracy successful. Soros is probably feeling pretty good about now, he has the entire country stirred up over black and white issues which was his goal. Soros loves neither black or white; his lust is for power and control. He has manipulated events and he is feeling his oats. There is one factor that he has no considered: God! Soros is an agnostic Jew, he doesn’t believe in God but his faith or lack thereof has nothing to do with reality. God used Pharaoh, a hardened pagan and he used Nebuchadnezzar, another pompous and presumptuous pagan. God is so powerful and so in charge that He even uses the devil. So the bottom line is that we go by God’s word not current events. The left is organized, they are cohesive and they are motivated by hate which is a strong force but they have made one bad mistake–their plan has no place for Jesus. Matter of fact, their plan is anti-Christ and I promise you, it will not succeed.

Update of Tracey: this was from last night. Tracey was walking, thinking clearly and Gracin is going to get to be with her. She has not eaten in days and has very little energy. She is to get a feeding tube today and if that is successful, she will get to come home 24 hours later. The feeding tube is scheduled for 3:00 pm today. We are praying for her to get home.
