Samuel Clements may have been right, a lie does seem to travel faster than the truth and the lie also seems to be more popular. One of the grand kids was doing on line home work and it was the stupidest stuff I have ever heard. Nothing about the DNA molecule or nuclear fission, real science; nothing about George Washington of the founding of the Republic and nothing about the constitution or the Mayflower Compact. The lesson was on the old stone age verses the new. I sat there shaking my head in unbelief. How many of these pseudo intellectuals who design curriculum were there to record the history of their fictional stone age? I will tell, not a single one. I will also tell you their their theories are not facts but merely conjecture based on a very anti-Christ bias. None of these folks are Christians and none of them believe the bible. Think about the lies they teach our kids in schools. We can start with evolution or devolution. This is a lie out of hell. The big bang theory: you would have to be a pure idiot to believe in the big bang. That we live in a democracy. I was taught this lie and I went to school in the 50’s and 60’s. Why would you put this conjecture about two stone ages in a text book. Because, they think it undermines the veracity of the bible. What benefit is to talk about these so called ages? None!
What got me thinking about this subject was the speeches being made at the Republican Convention. Basically, the Republicans put ordinary everyday people on the podium to debunk the lies being perpetuated by the left. First lie: American is oppressive and filled with racial hatred. These morons who are screaming “racism” are full of crap. Race would not even be an issue if they did not stir the stink constantly. Yes, we have the extreme groups like the Nazis and the Black Panthers but these folks do not personify America. They are radicals and every country in the world has them. It is inconceivable to me that Major League Baseball would be completely deceived by the lies from the left. The majority of Americans know that George Soros is an evil man and if not a pedophile, a supporter of pedophiles. Do you think, knowing what I know, that I would allow the BLM logo on anything in my possession. When knowledgeable people drove by and seen the BLM logo on my office building or a flag, they would immediately think of George Soros and the molestation of children.
Another question: how is it that the NFL especially but also the MLB and NBA do not realize that the LEFT are not sports fans. You would think they would have enough sense to do demographic studies. Left wingers are pantywaist, wussy, jelly fish. These folks are not ex-military. They don’t serve their country or their community. They are not policemen or firemen. They lack the courage and the moral fiber to put their life on the line. The average football fan is a jock, a hunter, a plant worker, a middle incomer and yes, many of them drive a pickups. Demographically speaking–football fans come from the shoot-gun and pickup community. There are exceptions but the vast majority are middle income and conservative. I write this is stunned unbelief–how could the professional sports world be so blind. BLM is the very opposite of what they think it is: it is a racist organization designed to stir racial tension. I am appalled at the ignorance and blindness of the sports world.
Each week the band seems to do a new song that speaks to my heart: this past Sunday it was JUST AS I AM, COME BROKEN.
I love to sing as much as anyone but I am learning to worship as I listen. The new songs are speaking to me and it is refreshing just to sit quietly and listen.
I am sitting here this morning enjoying the sound of rain; mercy drops round me are falling and I praise the LORD. I love rain. God has conspired to overcome evil with good through human history working via the process. He used things to help us that we consider bad. If it were not for hurricanes, North America would be a desert. If it were not for lightening and thunder storms, the nitrogen in the upper atmosphere would kill every plant on earth. The lightening breaks it down so that if feeds plants rather than kills them. God is Amazing!
