He Spoke

Scripture

For He spoke, and it came to be; He commanded and it stood firm.

Horse power is not the answer; no one gets by on human strength alone.

As I was reading Psalm 33, verse 9 really captured my attention and I thought about a companion verse in the N.T. It is Matthew 8:8, “But the centurion replied, “Lord, I am not worthy to have you come under my roof. Instead, just say the word and my servant will be healed.” The centurion must of been familiar with Psalm 33 because he believed in the power of the WORD. He understood that Jesus physical presence was not necessary; all that was necessary for his servants healing was a WORD from Jesus. Psalm 33 reminds us that God created all that we see by the power of the spoken word, God spoke and it came to be. Not only did it come into being, it stood firm. Hebrews 1:3 reads, The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by His powerful word

I marvel at such awesome power. Can you imagine having the power to speak something into existence. You speak the word and it happens. Of course we don’t have this power: we cannot speak things into existence or out of existence. As a matter of fact our words are impotent, they are powerless or at least they seem so in comparison to God’s word. The LORD has a plan and a reason for everything. When Joe David was small he asks a lot of questions. One day he asks his mother, “Why did God make flies?” She said, “Son, I don’t know; why would you ask me such a question?” He said, “Because all you do is kill them with the fly swatter.” I have a better question: Why does God allow the democrats to run their mouth? If I had His word power, I would not damn them to hell but I would mute them. Wouldn’t it be a better world if all the democrats would just shut up?

God has a plan and one of these days Jesus is going to show up in person and they will shut up. Of course we will all shut up and stand in awe of His glorious splendor and majesty. Actually, we can all imagine.

I have not been doing a weekend blog but I have several written that are unpublished and this is one of them.

I couldn’t find the video that has gone viral but I think this one will show you a brief clip. Three media elites making fun of rural America. The fools have a much bigger problem than rural America and If the LORD gets us safely to the next election: they might be more shocked than they were is 2016. The Democrats are completely out of touch with America; they are beginning to lose minorities because they are see them selves as elites. Personally, I don’t think there is anything elite about them. Yes, they think I am an idiot but I say the exact same thing about them. I’m not offended by their words; what bothers me is their influence on weak minded individuals who believe every word they say.
