Sadducees

Scripture

So He is the God of the living, not the dead, for they are all alive to Him.”

~Luke 20:38, NLT

Quote

Money has never made man happy, nor will it because there is nothing in its nature to produce happiness.

~Benjamin Franklin

Jesus was addressing the Sadducees when He spoke the words above… “He is the God of the living, not the dead, for they are all alive to Him.” The Sadducees tried to entrap Jesus with a question about the resurrection. I would love to have seen Jesus face; there had to be a big smile or maybe a chuckle. How ironic that the Sadducees would try to trick Him who was the RESURRECTION with a story about the resurrection–the Sadducees didn’t believe in a resurrection; matter of fact they didn’t believe in anything other than money and power. They claimed to believe the books of Moses but as Jesus pointed out, they did not. They believed in annihilation–you live, you die and that’s it, no eternal state, no heaven and no hell. They were cold and crass with no sympathy or compassion for others. They had reduced life to two things: money and power. They practiced the GOLDEN RULE: He who has the gold rules. They were elitist who lived in a gated community. They did not mix or associate with common people.

You may find this hard to believe but the Sadducees have survived; they still exist and we have one running for president. His name is Michael Bloomberg. He is a filthy rich Jew who is convinced that his money can buy him a trip to the white house. Actually, Bloomberg is less intelligent than most Sadducees. The normal Sadducee would never go public; they like to live in the shadows and pull strings. They are experts at manipulating circumstances and events. I doubt that his fellow Sadducees are happy with him. He could mess up their play house because they already control the Federal Reserve. All nine banks in the Federal Reserve system or Jewish. I don’t know, its conjecture on my part but why did Bloomberg come out of the closet: why does he want to be president? Perhaps he thinks Trump won the election due to his personal wealth. I admit Trump’s money helped but that is not what put him in office. The man is connecting with the general public, ordinary everyday people. For the first time in a long time, we feel like we have someone in office that represents our interest. Bloomberg is just another condescending elitist. He is not running to serve us, his intention is to rule us. He’s already insulted farmers and middle America. He is not through; he will do more insulting because he thinks his money makes him better than and superior to you and I. Don’t you know the TV industry is loving it: they are getting a chunk of his fortune. I am praying for his money and his propaganda to fail. The last thing we need in the White House is a condescending Sadducee.

I know you like to hear good news: we had two more Professions of faith last night among the youth. Trust me, I had nothing to do with either one: Mary brought the first to me after the service and Josh was in my office with a second. We have a change to baptize four weeks in a row. God is definitely moving among our youth and we praise Him for it. Let’s pray that it spreads across the county or even country.

I was told tonight that the gay mafia got all of FRANKLIN GRAHAMS UK city crusaded canceled. I have been praying for REVIVAL in the mother land and it broke my heart to hear the sad news. He is going to make a trip there anyway but I don’t know what their plans are at this time.

June and Holly were talking about lent and giving up something: June said, “I will give up my peppermint candy,” and Holly said she would give up her cokes, then Chloe said without hesitation, “I’ll give up school.”
