Scripture

Let all that I am praise the LORD; may I never forget the good things He does for me.

~Psalm 103:2, NLT

God is not a symbol of goodness: goodness is a symbol of God.

No blogs over the last two days stems from a combination of things: computer problems, interruptions and schedule. I’ve been fighting it but I am going to have to break down and buy a new computer but that is not the only problem. Anyway, God is good and I am thankful to have what I have. I’m on an old computer at the house tonight. I can post with it but I can’t edit anything once I post, so expect some mistakes.

I want to PRAISE the LORD for allowing me to preach twice yesterday. I didn’t do any hollowing or running around. My energy level is still not up to par but it sure was good to stand before my favorite people and preach the gospel. Covid works on the body and mind. I struggled all week with the message. I told Joe David I would preach for him before I had the message. By Friday, I was getting worried. It was a beautiful day and so I decided to leave the study and take a walk. It was during the walk that the LORD spoke to me and I was one happy camper. If He doesn’t speak to me, I have nothing to say to you. I shared with GRACE POINT at 9:15 and then again at DBC an hour later. I didn’t plan an invitation but when I looked up, I saw Moose and the girls on their way to the stage and I went with the flow. Very glad I did: the invitation blessed me. David’s testimony touched me and then last night Holly told me there had been an online response. A young woman struggling with grief and the loss of her mom to cancer heard the message. She told Holly, the message changed her perspective. All I can say, is Praise Jesus! Wow! What a day!

To ice the cake, Holly and Hannah carried me and the grands to see the lights at Toyota Park last night. It is $25 per car but it is worth every penny. Plus the grand girls sang Christmas carols for me on the way. If you go see the lights, use your GPS because they had the Toyota Field exit closed. The blog is the extra today. I hope you have a great week. If you are suffering from Covid, I am praying for you. Youth helps, the Covid is hard on old folks.
