Voddie Baucham is a black missionary, theologian, Christian apologist and very popular conference speaker. I told you he is black for a reason: he does not fit the stereotype. He is anything but typical. He refers to gays as sodomites. He has enlarged the acronym LBGT {lesbian, bisexual, gay, transgender} to LBGTQA+….Lesbians, bisexuals, gays, transgenders, queers and questioning, and ALLIES and then the plus is for any other flaky group that clamors about social injustice. I only want to focus on the ALLIES because there are a lot of so called ‘Christians’ who claim to know Jesus and yet ally themselves with all these perversions. Everyone needs to read Romans 1 in the CEV. Actually every professing Christians needs to get familiar with Romans one. Recently, Jimmy Carter said, “Jesus would approve of gay marriage…I think Jesus would encourage any love affair if it was honest and sincere and was not damaging to anyone else and I don’t see that gay marriage damages anyone else.” I have said it for years and have always wanted to be wrong: this man who professes to be a believer is an ally to every perversion on the list. Now he is having qualms about ABORTION but what has he done to prevent it? I’ll tell you: NOTHING. Carter has been an ally to feminism since day one. Carter is the man that appointed Sarah Weddington to his staff. She was the infamous feminist lawyer in Roe V. Wade, the one who lied through her teeth.
Every person, especially those who claim to be Christians, who supports the democratic party are ALLIES just like Carter. They are in the acronym LBTGQA+ and unfortunately, like Carter, most of them seem to be proud of their position. It is my firm belief that the ALLIES will incur the same judgement as who live perverted lifestyles. A part of the curse in Romans chapter one is darkness. When people reject the truth and feed on the lie [Rom. 1:25], God gives them over to the depraved or reprobate mind and they lose their ability to discern the truth. The very folks who believe firmly that there is no judgment for their sin, no accountability to be given to God are already being judged and they don’t even know it. The darkness that has invaded their mind is a part of the judgment. When you cannot see that abortion is murder, you are spiritually blind. I tell you the truth, I have deep sorrow for the ALLIES. According to scripture, things are not going to end well for them.
If I understood Carter correctly, he is having second thoughts about ABORTION ON DEMAND. He should be and so should everyone else. Perhaps the LORD is answering a prayer: wouldn’t it be great for Carter to see the light in his latter days. Perhaps he could undo some of the damage.
Ken Nelson missed the fish fry last Friday because he was have a stent put in his heart. He has eight stents total and is going to undergo by-pass surgery in a month or so. He wanted me to tell you that he was disappointed that he and Myrle did not get to come. I went to see him yesterday and the flowers and the dogwoods on that side of town are beautiful. They live between the power lines and Point Mallard, a little East of 20 Street and the grass, azaleas, dogwoods are beautiful. If you like horticulture, you need to drive through that area.
I became a Virginia fan during the tournament so I was pleased. I liked Texas Tech also. I pulled for all the SEC schools but I don’t like how they recruit or play, except for Auburn. I like the way they play…gun and run or is it run and gun. I love it. Nothing is more boring than watching Alabama try to play half court basketball with nothing on the floor but athletes who can run and jump but could not hit a bull with a bass fiddle. They can’t even hit foul shots. I also thought it was ironic that the one and done teams didn’t make it to the final four.
