Simon and Garfunkel was a popular singing duo during my early days. Dallas Willard mentions their song “Blessed Are The Meek,” in his classic THE DIVINE CONSPIRACY. His mention of the lyrics of their song stirred my curiosity so googled it.

My first thought was: these cats were Jewish so I google that and sure enough, both were raised in Jewish homes in New York City. What was the give away? Jewish people have a strong tendency to play the victim as you can see in their song… “sat upon, spat upon, ratted on, Oh LORD why have You forsaken me.” God has not forsaken the Jewish people, they have forsaken Him. Jesus did reject the Jews, the Jews rejected Jesus. When you hear them talk, it sounds like they were the rejected; like they have been dealt more misery than any race on the planet. They have been persecuted, but look at the misery they have brought on themselves and on others. Yet they seem oblivious to the pain and misery they have caused. Karl Marx being a good or should I say bad example. I am tired of the excuses; take ownership of your sin. Why is it always someone’s fault.
You can criticize the white male today. You can castigate him, slander them, slur him or curse him, but say one word about any Jew {Sorros, Zuckleburg, etc} and you are antisemitic. You are a bigot, racist and a hater. This is hog wash. My wife criticizes me all the time, but that doen’t mean she is anitjack. If you want to put her to the test, you attack me and see what happens. I despise political correctness. It eliminates debate. I listened to Hillary’s tape the other day where she said half of Trump’s supporters were a basket of deplorables. She said we are racist, sexist, homophobic, demophobic and Islamiphobic. I am certainly demophobic: I am afraid that democrats are liars and Marxist, but I am not a victim and neither are the dems.
It is easy to go through life blaming someone else for your sin. People come to me all the time blaming someone else for their mistakes but I can’t remember the last time anyone came to me and said, “Bro. Jack, I am a death and hell deserving sinner and I am responsible for the mess I am in.” I would probably kill over with a heart attack if I heard one person take ownership of their sin. We do like Adam and Eve, we blame it on someone else.

I have to be honest, an exception just came to mind. A person did come up to me a few months back and take ownership of their sins. So I stand corrected. It has happened it the last year but it doesn’t happen much. Most of the time, we find a scapegoat.
Got that snow and the kids got out of school so at least they are happy. They changed the temps for today so I was praying that had missed tomorrow as well but my ap says 18 tonight and 15 tomorrow night. Right now it is pleasant with 30 degrees and no wind. I can handle that. The cold doesn’t bother me as much as the wind. I prefer a calm 30 over a windy 40.
Have not eaten since midnight; have to go for blood work. Growing old is not for sissys. Had to go to doctor Monday and AIC is 6:5. I went into immediately depression. Can’t drink coffee, cokes and not can’t have sweets. What purpose is there to like if you can’t have a donut or a piece of pie with a cup of coffee? Don’t take me seriously; there are real sick people out there that need our prayers.
