We humans are finite is every respect except one, we do have infinite ignorance. Edison was right on the money and you may think at first that he has over stated a fact but just give it some more thought–he may have under stated it. On one of His trips to Jerusalem, Jesus cleared out the temple. I think He did this twice and this may have been the first time. What He did upset the Jewish big wigs because they were making money hand over fist from the corrupt practices going on at the temple. So the leading priests, the teachers of religious law, and the elders came up to Jesus and demanded, “By what authority are You doing all these things? Who gave You the right to do them?” Jesus said, “I’ll tell you by what authority I do these things if you answer one question,” Jesus replied. “Did John’s authority to baptize come from heaven, or was it merely human? Answer me!” They huddled up for a private conversation that went something like this: This man is more intelligent than we thought. He has us over a barrel. If we say John’s authority came from God, He will say, “Then why didn’t you repent and be baptized,” and if we say John’s authority was of man, the crowd might flog us because they believed in John. So they finally replied, “We don’t know.” They were confessing their ignorance although they were so ignorant, they didn’t know they were confessing: it was a lot that these know-it-alls did not know. More, much more than they imagined.
How much do we know. Paul said in 1 Timothy 1:12, I know the One in whom I trust, and I am sure that He is able to guard what I have entrusted to Him until the day of His return. We do know that sin and evil are present and active in this world and our only hope is Jesus. Who is running this country? Don’t say Biden because he doesn’t have enough sense to find the bath room without help. Who is the one person calling the shoots or is it a cabal? We don’t know. Was covid manufactured in a Chinese lab? Is it man made? What happened to the flu, did it just disappear when covid showed up? Why is the medical community as confused about covid as we are? Are the vaccines effective or not? Doest the mask help or hinder? There is a lot we don’t know but there are a few things we do know: [1] The media is bias and is a tool of the left. It is a propaganda machine. [2] The left once known as democrats are now marxist. Of course they still want to called democrats but in truth they are Marxist and they hate the constitution and the United States in general. They are determined to destroy the Republic. [3] We know that the last election was stolen by these Marxist democrats and it was a conspiracy {a plan set in place long before the election]. Covid was a part of their plan. There has been a political agenda behind covid from day one and it was to get rid of Donald Trump who was reviving the old America that they hate and we love. His slogan, “Make America Great Again” put them in a rage. He was reviving the very thing they were trying to destroy. This is the obvious: this is what we know.
This is what I know that few others seem to understand. Marxism plays to the whims of the elite, the very, very wealthy like Zuckleburg, Bloomberg, Soros and others.Take North Korea for example: poverty increases annually and the life span decreases. It is the fruit of Marxism, a small elite ruling class and a huge class of poor peasants. The average worker in North Korea earns between 3 to 4 dollars per month. It is the same in all Marxist governments. A group of elites sit at the top and they enjoy all the wealth at the expense of the masses. The elites in America are predominately Jewish: they hate Jesus, Christianity and America. Don’t miss what I am saying: I am not talking about peasant Jews, or industrial Jews or millionaire Jews, I am talking about the billionaires who own Hollywood, the media, most of the large cites and the high tech industry. The same group who controls the banking industry and most likely the White House. I pray daily for God to revive America, the church and the SBC. I don’t know that He will but I keep asking.

I do praise the LORD for another great LORD’s day and the opt to preach the gospel three times: what a blessed privilege. I have to admit, the weather has damped my spirits somewhat and I hate to confess such a weakness. I was thrilled to see the sunshine this morning. January has never been my favorite month. Getting up this morning and fixing breakfast for the grands did cheer me up. It is a sin for me to complain: the LORD has been good to me. I saw old Gregg last night and he looks great. He has even gained some weight, PTL.
Over the weekend, we did have a couple of unexpected events. Kay Edmunson feel twice on Friday I think and is in Decatur Morgan Hospital. He is experiencing kidney failure. Holly’s brother in law Tim Taylor died Saturday evening with a heart attack or so we think. Pray for his sweet wife Tammy {Jeremy’s sister}. She has a lot to deal with. She has lost her parents, sister and now husband in less than a decade and is raising her sister’s children. Please pray for Tammy and if you don’t mind, say a prayer for me as I will be conducting the COLS.
LORD willing we are on our way to Athens today to get a shot in my right hand: Yes, it hurts and I am a big baby. I don’t like needles or pain. Have a great day and thanks for reading the blog.
