He fills my life with good things. My youth is renewed like the eagle’s!

I can certainly go along with the scripture, “He fills my life with good things.” Sometimes I have my doubts about my youth being renewed like the eagle. Eagles are big birds who can fly high, as high as 20,000 feet. They can stay in the air for days easily cover 100 miles is a day. The eagle is a master at flying. The fly in a circle until they detect a thermal which is a pocket of warm air moving to the top. When they find this invisible thermal, they get in it and rise as high 20,000 feet, up there with the jets. Once they get the boast from the thermal and get the altitude they desire, they put it on cruise and can glad for hours.

This is what Isaiah talks about in chapter 40..The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth. He never grows weak or weary. No one can measure the depths of his understanding. He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless. Even youths will become weak and tired, and young men will fall in exhaustion. But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.

• Gave you some bad info yesterday. Bill Dobbs had two son in Summerford. One was there from a stroke and the oldest  had a brain bleed. He passed away on Tuesday. Service is Friday at 1:00.
