Scripture
Truthful words stand the test of time, but lies are soon exposed.
~Proverbs 12:19, NLT
Quote
Truth forever on the scaffold, Wrong forever on the throne,—
Yet that scaffold sways the future, and, behind the dim unknown,
Standeth God within the shadow, keeping watch above his own.
~James Russel Lowell
The god of this world, the prince of darkness believes in the power of the lie. It was by using the “lie” that he robbed our ancient parents of a paradise and gave them death instead. All of his followers believe in the power of the lie; they all use propaganda to decieve and control the masses. I don’t know how many times I have read through the bible but it fascinates me to come across a verse that I never remember reading and yesterday that verse was Proverbs 12:19. A lie will work short term. If they didn’t work, no one would use them. All of Satans followers, and most do not realize that it is he that they are following, believe in the effectiveness of the lie. The lie is a powerful tool. Jacob the Patriarch lived in gloom and grief for 20 years due to a lie. He was grieving the death of his son Joseph but in fact, Joseph was alive and well and the ruler of Egypt. When the truth was revealed to Jacob, his heart was revived. The truth set him free.
Have you heard of the Piltdown Man or the Nebraska Man? These were the so-called missing links that archeologist discovered a century ago. They were skeletons of the cave man. They made the science books. Children across America were taught that skeletal remains of the cave man were everywhere. It was all a hoax. The bones of the Nebraska man were mostly pig bones and in both cases, the skulls were fabricated. You have to question everything a liberal says because they believe that lying is legitimate if it aids their cause.
Don’t set your hopes on a lie because in the end, all lies will be exposed. A lie may produce temporay success but it will never stand the test of time nor God’s judgment. Jesus always knew that the Jewish religious establishment was corrupt. This is why they hated Him; He knew they were living a lie and He was exposing their hypocrisy. Stick to the truth, it will endure forever but the lie has no future.

Jambalaya supper went well. We had 45 and enough to feed twice or three times that many. I invited everyone I ran into but for some reason it is hard to get some of our folks to come eat with us. I think if they came one time they would love it.
Charles will be serving chicken stew, chili and cowboy soup this Saturday at the CHRISTY CLARK MEMORIAL BLOOD DRIVE–9:00 am–3:00 pm, everyone is invited whether you can give blood or not.
