I realize that the majority of my readers are women, but I also know that in our house, June is the sports fan. She loves golf, especially the MASTERS, St. Louis Cardinal baseball, and college basketball. Joe David carried me to the BJCC last year for the Bama/Gonzaga basketball game. I was an unhappy camper. First of all, they wouldn’t take cash and that ticked me off and then constantly over the PA system we heard about DIVERSITY, INCLUSION and EQUITY. I thanked JD for taking me but I told him, “I’m done; you can stick a fork in me. I will not be back.” Seriously folks, it made me sick to hear this Marxist propaganda for more than two hours and as usual, the majority of men in the building {paying customers} were white middle class men and their families. I hate to break it to the SEC but the majority of sports fan are not WOKE and we despise Marxism.
If you have listened to JOCS 94.5 FM out of B’Town, you are familiar with Clay Travis. He is the author of the April IMPRIMIS article SPORTS SHOULD UNIFY, NOT DIVIDE US. When we go to ball games, we go for recreation, not for a political rally, and certainly not for Marxist indoctrination. When it comes to professional sports, the NBA is the most WOKE, or at least of the major sports. I quit watching the NBA 20 years ago, June has not watched it in the last ten or twelve. If you watch it, don’t tell me, I don’t want to know. The NBA and some of its so called stars {thugs} have stated repeatedly that AMERICA is systematically racist and rotten to the core. This makes me angry. If America is so rotten, why don’t they get out and go somewhere else. Why don’t they go to communist China their sponsor? Here is what they are not going to tell you: the most watched basketball game in history was game six in the 1998 NBA finals. Almost 36 million viewers watched Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls play the Utah Jazz. I know you think Lebron James is Niki’s number one snicker salesman but he is not, it is Michael Jordan and it is not close. I am not talking about 26 years ago, Jordan is number one today! You know why, Jordan has more sense than to get into WOKE politics. When someone asked him why he would not speak out for the WOKE community, he said, “Republicans buy sneakers too.” By the way, the NBA no longer has 36 million fans; try 7 million and it is due to their woke ideology. Do their care? Not really because Red China basically owns the NBA and pays their salaries. That in itself should be a turnoff to every red blooded patriotic American.

I have been mistaking things all week, I told Charles Wednesday night that the DBC VBS kids had raised $11,000.00 and that was wrong. They raised enough to build 11 houses and did 3 more yesterday which is a grand total of 14. At $550 per house that is $7,700 and they have one more day. I think they had 241 yesterday but I am not sure.
Randy, Cindy and Vickie got all the staining done at the POINT. The light at the end of the tunnel is getting bigger and brighter. I can see us knocking out the wood work this Saturday. Then Charles crew can trim it out next week {hint, hint}.
