As I was praying a few mornings ago, the thought crossed my mind, “How would the modern media cover the crucifixion of Christ?” How would the headlines read? Perhaps it would read something like this…“Jewish Radical Activist Found Guilty and Executed.” They would not mention the fact that He was totally innocent or that He was the Messiah, the Son of God. They would word it so that the truth would be totally obscured. God forbid that they tell the truth. When I heard that Charlie Kirk had been murdered, I made the mistake of going to Google and there I saw what incensed me, “Right-Wing Activist Shot.” Immediately, they mentioned his support of our president and they called Trump a right-winger. Charlie Kirk was first and foremost a follower of Jesus Christ: and that is why he died heroically as a Christian martyr. Has the media mentioned his love and devotion to Jesus? I do confess that FOX aired his wife’s speech and they did give him some good press. But most of the very biased left-wing media tried to make it a political assassination. They made it sound like Charlie was into politics which he was not. He was a Christian Apologist with the skills of an Apollo, who could refute the Jews in public debate. He could take the scriptures and prove that Jesus was the Messiah and the Jews hated him. Charlie Kirk could take the scripture and show how sexual perversion is a sin and they hated him for it. His murder had nothing to do with politics.

The media today is so sick and twisted that they are on the fringe of celebrating this young man’s death. Young white conservative men deserve to die…that is the way these idiots think. The left is as twisted as Islam who celebrated the destruction of the Twin Towers. Thousands of people murdered in one day and they were dancing in the streets, clapping their hands, hollowing and firing weapons in the air like a bunch of morons. Not one Muslim cleric in America ever denounced the attack and then we have the likes of George Bush who embraced them as allies. They are here to destroy our republic and make America a Muslim nation. The irony is that the Jews own the media and control it, yet their hate for Trump and conservatives is so great, so exaggerated that they are enabling their greatest enemy {Islam} to destroy their greatest ally {USA}. Sin and pride are blinding.

Let me set the record straight: Charlie Kirk was NOT a “Right-wing Political Activist,” he was a CHRISTIAN APOLOGIST and the best I’ve ever seen or heard. I am not saying that he was more intelligent than C.S. Lewis, but Lewis never engaged in public debate. Charlie was next to Jesus in my opinion at confronting the lost world with the truth of the gospel. He was phenomenal. No one that I know of, since Jesus and Apollos could do what he did and the lame brains in the lame stream media don’t get it. They would not know the truth if it bit them on the neck.

One other things: Where are the yellow dog democrats in North Alabama going to go with this one. We know they hate Trump and love Clinton, Obama and Carter, but how can anyone in the Christian community hate Charlie Kirk. Really, do you want to support a political party that refuses to be quiet so a prayer or moment of silence can be observed for a young man who died trying to making America great again. The dems in congress acted worse than the Jews at the cross. It is a shame and disgrace.

You never know what a day will bring. June and I were sitting in the den Friday night when we got a text. My mother’s baby brother Billy Blackburn [91] and the only surviver of her generation accidentally cut his leg with a chain saw and bleed out. A neighbor found him. I have no idea how long he long he had been laying there. His son came in from Texas last night and they will meet today to make arrangements. He was a graduate of Auburn University in 1959. He was a veterinarian and worked in Ames Iowa at the National Research Center For Animal Dieases. It is close to the campus of Iowa State. He retired just north of Athens on the Blackburn family farm 36 years ago.

I think Jan Fields is improving. I hope to get down there this week but will not make it today. I hope you have a great day and a good week.

I listen to autobiographies on YouTube while I am driving and last week I listed to one on Norma Jeane Mortenson [June 1, 1926 – August 4, 1962]. You know her as Marilyn Monroe. Some astounding facts…

• She was an orphan and went from home to home, never really having a home or feeling loved or wanted.
• Her first marriage was good but her husband got called to WWII and in his absence, she allowed a photographer to take her picture and that got her into modeling.
• When her husband returned, he wanted her to give up her career and be a wife and mother. She struggled with the decision but said no to him and yes to show biz.
• Monroe’s troubled private life received much attention. Her marriages to retired baseball star Joe DiMaggio and playwright Arthur Miller both highly publicized but both marriages ended in divorce.
• Marilyn died at the youthful age of 36 of a reported overdose but the cause of her death is questionable. It was ruled a suicide but her dealings with the Kennedy’s made it highly supicious.
• Evidently fame is hard to handle. Marilyn was never happy and never found the love she was looking for. It is a sad story, simular to Elvis.
