Scripture
“The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Messiah, and He will reign for ever and ever.”
~Revelation 11:15, NIV
Quote
“There is not a square inch in the whole domain of our human existence over which Christ, who is Sovereign over all, does not cry, ‘Mine!’”
~Abraham Kuyper
As you read through the Bible, one of the themes that you see often is the rule of Christ over all the earth. Zechariah the prophet said, “The LORD will be king over all the earth. On that day there will be one LORD and His name shall be worshipped forever.” Isaiah said, Of the greatness of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. {Isa. 9:7} It is an often repeated refrain in scripture. So like it or not, the world is coming to Jesus and those who choose not to bow will be broken, like an iron pipe shattering a piece of pottery. What chance does a clay pot have over an iron rod?
Jesus tells the story about a domain that was owned by a wealthy nobleman. He went on a journey but was returning to be the king of the realm, but they sent the king a message, “We don’t want you to be our king.” {Luke 19:14} It is not conjecture, it is a fact, the Jews rejected Jesus as their Messiah and King. As John said, “He came unto His own and His own did not recieve Him.” In this world, there is an animosity, a hatred for Jesus. If you don’t believe me, start talking about him in the public square. The world hates Jesus and His followers. When we begin talking about Jesus ruling and reigning here on earth, they get agitated and angry. Why is this? They do not want HIM to be King. Why do they not want Jesus to be King? Because they want to be king themselves.
God has a plan and the plan involves a man, the man Christ Jesus. God plans for Him to rule over all creation and over this earth. Never fear folks, the left will not stop it from happening. They are fool enough to think they can win but they don’t have a prayer. They are like a pack of hounds barking at the moon because it is too bright. All their incessant yapping will not change a thing.

The weeks fly by to me. Wednesday is my day to visit the retirement homes but we will have one less visit than last week. Joe David and I did Felton Cooper’s COLS last night. Doug sang and he wasn’t even there. They used one of his old CD’s. It was a good service. It ended with laughter just as Felton would have wanted.
We have a lot of sick and ailing folks but for fear of leaving someone out, I will mention only one, please pray for Charity Clark.
It was cool walking to my office this morning. We have a crescent moon and the stars were shinning clearly. We do need a rain. I think there is a slight chance for Sunday.
