Pilate knew the truth, Jesus was not guilty, and yet he turned from the truth to sure up his political career. In other words, he rejected the truth because it did not suit his plans. What Pilate did happens often, we come face to face with the truth, but then turn from it to something which is not true. You would think that our Universities of Higher learning would be in hot pursuit of the truth, yet this is not so. Hillsdale College takes no government money. They can hire who they like and take the students that prefer. Jimmy Carter did his best to shut them down but he failed PTL. At Hillsdale they have open debate. All points of view can be expressed without censorship. Try that in one of the government schools. In these schools only one point of view is tolerated–that of secular humanism.

What happened to our quest for truth? I will tell you: we didn’t like it and it did not fit our plans so we turned from it. If you turn from the truth, you are bound to embrace a lie. This is what government education is all about, propagating lies. In began in the 1930’s with John Dewey. I went to school in the 50’s and 60’s and I was never taught that we live in a REPUBLIC. I was told from day one that we live in a democracy. This is a lie. We are not ruled by the majority, we are ruled by the Constitution, the highest law of the land. This document constructed by our brilliant forefathers is based on Mosaic law and the humanist hate it. They do not wish to be ruled by God’s law. They will do whatever it takes to destroy the constitution because it blocks their agenda.

You say, that is only one lie preacher, do they teach others? Glad you ask! Evolution is a joke. No one in their right mind would believe this crock. Evolution is a theory that gives people an alternative to believing in a Creator. They don’t like the CREATOR motif because it teaches accountability. Since God created the world and all that is in it, He has the right to govern it as He sees fit. They rebel against His government: they do not want Him being their ruler.

These two lies I have discussed is enough to destroy America as we know it. Secular humanist have been in charge of government education for the past 90 years. Education should go back to the States. Let Alabama decide what will be taught in public schools in Alabama. Embrace the TRUTH, He will set you free.

Josie had a VB game in Haleyville last night and there is no good way to get there unless you have a helicopter. It was almost 10:00 when I got home. I am getting a late start this morning, it was after 5:00 when I ate breakfast. Cool weather ahead PTL. You can’t order better weather. By the way Josie and team won. They were down 2-1 and could have been eliminated with a loss and they came back and won the last two matches. Haleyville has worse fans than we do and that is bad. It’s like going to Baton Rouge or Knoxville.

Felton Cooper passed away and the COLS is Tuesday at Pecks. Felton helped me build several handicap ramps in the area. It went strong until about ten years ago and then he just quit. I have a lot of Felton stories but I will save them for a later date.

Charity trip to Universal was a success and she is back home. Not doing well. In a lot of pain. Pray for Charity and Josh. Charity got a video call from Bruce Pearl. I am not kidding. The ball coach was very good. They have released it to the public yet, if they do, I will share it.

Cheryl Childers has surgery this morning on her shoulder. It is scheduled for 9:00 am. She will be in Cullman.
