There is life in the path of righteousness and in it’s path there is no death.

We are coming to you today from the Hilton Garden Inn in Pensacola, Florida. We are here for a COLS this evening at 3:00. I am using their media room so I do have access to all my normal tools. My quote doesn’t exactly fit but I took it directly from the bible because I can’t figure out how to open multiple windows on this computer. I just got dressed for the COLS a few minutes ago. Before doing so I was reading in Colossians and 3:12 got my attention. One of the things we do every morning is get dressed. We don’t dare go out of the house without doing so but how often do we think about getting dressed spiritually? Paul challenges us to get dress spiritually before our days activity by putting on COMPASSION, KINDNESS, HUMILITY and PATIENCE. We put these spiritual garments on by prayer. Father, give us compassion, kindness, humility and patience. I don’t know about you but I need to put these on everyday. If I fail to do so and I do, I am leaving the house naked in a spiritual sense.
Ironically, I came down to the media room and the door was locked: you have to use your Hotel key card. So I go back up to the room to get the card and on the way back I thought, “What if some turkey has gotten into the room while I went to get the key. Then I realized, the LORD would be giving me an opportunity to show patience, kindness and humility. I was prepared to be nice but the room was still empty.
This computer is an antique so I going to try to post now. I have some extra but I did good to share the thought. You would think a 5 star hotel would have a modern computer and a wireless mouse for goodness sake.
