QUOTE
“Wherever you cast your eyes, there is no spot in the universe where you cannot discern at least some sparks of His glory.”
~John Calvin
God may choose to be silent but He never ceases to speak. He can speak through His awesome creation without uttering a single word. “The heavens [stars] declare the glory of God”. This is the gospel of the stars. They speak constantly–day after day and night after night; they speak inaudibly–they declare God’s glory without words; they speak universally–the message goes out through all the world. David was a shepherd before he became a soldier and a king. He was accustomed to sleeping under the stars. He learned that God always speaks through His creation. When David needed to hear from God, he just looked up into the night sky. According to his testimony, God never failed to speak. If you are discouraged; if heaven has been giving you the silent treatment as it did Job, go outside and look up into the starry sky. Just keep looking until the heavens declare the glory of God.
- Can you believe, the Indians beat the Cubs 6-0 but I think we are still the underdogs. Jon Lester is a cry baby. He acts as professional as I do and that is not a compliment.
- Tonight is the STEW and Hay Rides. I have a ton of things to do and I need some prayer. I need to be in two places at once and we all know that it’s not possible.
- TRUNK-A-TREAT this Sunday night.
- We keep tweaking our remaining schedule. We have Communion this Sunday, Revival the next and then LORD willing I will be preaching all the Sunday Morning Services through Christmas Day. I have one date that I have no finalized but as soon as I do, I will share the full schedule.
