Unfortunately for babies, most Americans do not understand the horror of abortion. In part this is due to our denial. People have the tendency to burry their head in the sand when an unpleasant reality exist. As soon as I read the verse above this morning, Roe V. Wade popped into my mind. I met Norma McCorvey [Jane Roe] in Washington DC some twenty years ago. The guilt she felt from lying and the deaths of millions of babies had driven her to despair. Thankfully, some good Church Of God folks shared the gospel with her and she recieved forgiveness for her sin but the scars were still there. She had allowed the left to use her and she knew it. She found out how much they cared before the case was decided. She told her lawyer, Sarrah Weddington that she had lied about being raped and Weddington told her to keep her mouth shut, it wasn’t about her. The more Norma second guessed her decision, the worse they treated her until finally she became an outcast.
People who think abortions are a pleasant proceedure are ignorant. There is a auro of horror at every abortion clinic. The people involved in the industry are not good Christian people. They are people in deep rebellion aganist God and they have an attitude that is chilling. They hate Jesus, they hate Christians and they hate babies. So how is it that the United States of America has legalized the killing of almost 60,000,000 babies since 1973? We were lied to from the very beginning. Like Norma McCorvey, we are the victims of deceit perpetrated by the Progressives, the liberal wing of the democrats and now the democrats in general. Yes, Jimmy Carter was in on the entire thing. He even appointed Weddington to his second level cabinet. I wonder how the man sleeps at night.
Here are the very words of Hillary Mayhem Clinton, “I do have a litmus test, I have a bunch of litmus tests, because the next president could get as many as three appointments, It’s one of the many reasons why we can’t turn the White House over to the Republicans again. We have to preserve marriage equality. We have to go further to end discrimination against the lesbians, gays, bisexuals, transvestites, transgender and transsexuals. We’ve got to make sure to preserve Roe V. Wade and not let it be nibbled away or repealed.”
If we don’t have some kind of revival in America, pedofiles will be added to the above list within the next decade. If you don’t see the evil in the LGBT, you will not cry out in moral outrage when they start advocating rights for pedofiles. It is a sad state of affairs but unfortunately, it is where we are in America. If you don’t see the evil in killing a child, you will not see the evil in molesting a child.
Honestly, this may be God’s judgment on us for being silent and indifferent on the issue of abortion. If we had stood firm on the rights of the unborn, all these other vile and ungodly things would not be destroying our nation. If we act like Sodom, we will be treated like Sodom.
- Bill Harrison [drove the van to pick of the kids Sunday night] has a nodule or nodules on his esophagus and they do not know at this time if they are cancerous. Bill went Vanderbilt yesterday and he will go back Thursday for the biopsy. Pray for Bill and Cassie. Everyone loves Bill. He is a good man, faithful husband and great father. Cassie has ask us to pray so say a prayer for Bill.
- We are up to 35 Venders for TRUNK-A-TREAT. Don’t forget to bring candy. I forgot myself last week. We are asking every family in church to buy at least one bag.
- I was thinking of REVIVAL in America this morning and I happened to remember ours coming up in one month…November 6-9 with Wade Morris, the barefoot prophet. Let’s begin praying daily for Revival in DBC.
- Japan is the most beautiful country I have seen {slides} in fall. I could not pick one slide. Look at the beauty and contrast of colors. Our God is an amazing Artist!
