Scripture
“If you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, ‘May you be uprooted and thrown into the sea,’ and it would obey you!

Don’t let your fear of tomorrow keep you from exercising you faith for today.

The disciples came to Jesus and said, “Show us how to increase our faith.” You would think that Jesus would be thrilled with this prayer request but He does not praise them, He upbraids them, “If you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, ‘May you be uprooted and thrown into the sea,’ and it would obey you.” We don’t need more faith, we need to exercise the little bit that we have. According to Jesus, a tiny faith will do. A mustard seed is the smallest of all seeds, smaller than a turnip seed and that is tiny. I came to know the LORD at age 9 and I did not have a great faith, I had a tiny faith but a tiny faith will do if we put it in Jesus. Instead of focusing on a greater amount of faith, why not focus on exercising the faith you have. Faith is like a muscle, it grows with exercise, not with a quick prayer.
