Our present culture, highly influenced by Marxism, denies the  absoluteness of truth. They teach moral relativism which is that truth is subjective. Truth is what you and I determine it  to be. This is hogwash. Truth is totally independent of man. Truth stands alone on its owe two feet. Jesus is TRUTH. He said is John 14, “I am the way, the truth and the life.” Jesus is the true and only way to the Father. Being the Truth, Jesus always spoke truth. God is love and Jesus was God so He always spoke the truth in love. Even though He spoke the truth in love, people were offended. He called the Pharisees and Sadducees out for being hypocrites and He did it in public. Some preachers work at being offensive; I don’t, it comes naturally for me. I am not talking about saying outrageous things just to draw attention to yourself and your perceived boldness. I am talking about telling the truth in love. Most preachers play it safe; they never address sensitive or controversial issues. Many preachers never denounced abortion. Thank God for those who did.

Today we are dealing with something I never dreamed I’d see, the “Gender” issue and it is not hard to know what we must do. We must preach God’s word with boldness. He created male and female and there is no in between. Rooster’s don’t lay eggs and there is nothing this sin cursed society can do about it. God determines who will be male and female and it cannot be changed. They can alter the anatomy but they can’t change the fact that God made male and female. If a lion enters the room, everyone should be frightened but if a little house cat walks in, no one should be frightened, yet a small percentage are terribly afraid of a tiny house cat. Being afraid of a lion is normal; being afraid of a house cat is abnormal. A man who is aroused by a woman’s beauty is normal; a man who is aroused by another man is abnormal. It is not natural. It cuts against the grain of God’s creative order. I am fairly certain that I will not attend a gay or queer wedding. In the first place, it is not a wedding and in the second place, I refuse to give consent or approve what they are doing.

I have a friend who worked in the same building with a lesbian. He was nice to her, he never mistreated her and so in time she invited him to her gay wedding. He looked her straight in the eye and said, “No, I will not be coming. I love you enough to tell you the truth. What you are doing is wrong. You are in rebellion against God and according to the Bible, it will lead to hell. I am sorry, but I cannot attend your wedding.” I wish that story was about me but it is not. I’ve never done anything that noble. Concerning sexual perversion: We must not encourage their rebellion because it leads to sure destruction. If we really love them; we will tell them the truth.

This is a quick blog and they are impossible for me to proof. I can see my mistakes the second day but not on the day of writing. Just work your way through. Joe David and I are hitting the road in a few minutes and I don’t have time to proof it even if I could.
