The Revelation

Scripture

All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast {all but true believers}…This calls for patient endurance and faithfulness on the part of God’s people.

~Revelation 13:8,10, NIV

Courage is grace under pressure.

Guess what N.T. book I read last when I am reading a new translation? I have been reading it for 50 years and the Revelation of Jesus Christ is still a great mystery to me and it is hard reading for me. This time, I thought I would try something new. David Suchet has a great reading voice and I had been listening to him read the Psalms so I followed in my bible as he read the Revelation and I loved it. I was amazed at how relevant John’s Revelation is to our day. What do we followers of Jesus do when the beast is enthroned and worshipped by the masses or in this case the media? Revelation 13:7 reads, “The beast was allowed to wage war on God’s people and was granted authority over every tribe and people.” I do not like the beast being enthroned; it is sour to my stomach but I must confess that our Sovereign God, who is on the real throne in heaven, allowed this to happen.

He allows them to slander their opponents. He allows them to commit fraud. I will probably work that word “fraud” into every blog until they censor me, which may be any time. He even allows them to boast and blaspheme. What we desperately need during this ordeal, time of tribulation, is patience or fortitude. The NIV reads…This calls for patient endurance and faithfulness on the part of God’s people. The New English Bible reads…This is where the fortitude and faithfulness of God’s people have their place. The NLT makes it crystal clear…This means that God’s holy people must endure persecution patiently and remain faithful. Trust me folks, I am suffering for need of patience. I wish now that Joe David and I had not restrained Hugh at the Train Station where he told Benedict Arnold to his face that the US would be better off if Washington D.C. was blown off the map. It did seem a little extreme at the time but no more. I say that D.C. is a cesspool, a stinking toilet that needed to be flushed. Sammie says it is a swamp caused by Beavers and that we need to get rid of some Beavers. He has a stronger term than get rid. In truth, Sammie needs to apologize to all the beavers.

We don’t have to worry about them censoring this: they don’t know what a beaver is or what it is capable of doing. The folks running DC are government educated intellectual midgets who wouldn’t recognize the truth or reality if it bit them on the neck. I am telling folks, stupid and idiot are not adequate adjectives anymore. What about insane and purely evil.

Wow, what a beautiful day yesterday and another one today, they say. Got a few projects done yesterday which is a major accomplishment for me. It is the first time I have worked physically in a while and I came home tired. I may as well tell you: everything on my prayer list is impossible. I guess this is the way it should be: if it is possible, I should go ahead and do it rather than asking the LORD. I pray everyday for President Trump to be restored. He is the rightful president, the one who was elected. Only God can make this wrong right. I don’t think the country can take four years of this insanity and I think the spineless republicans have realized what a mistake they made in not supporting the president.

Now the left is going after those in congress who supported Trump. They have already removed Georgia congress woman Marjorie Taylor Greene claiming she is a radical and the media has joined this Lynch mob. You can’t disagree with the socialist communist party.

Watched a documentary last night on the exodus of the Israelites from Egypt. I traveled with them via video from Egypt to Mount Sinai. Unbelievable! You should see the terrain. It must have been easier for God to create the stars than to lead 3 million Israelites and their flocks this this barren desert. Where they crossed the sea is wide; another huge miracle. There are remains of the glory fire they kept the Egyptian army from advancing. On the other side is the rock that Moses struck and you can still see the erosion caused by the water. A river came from this huge rock that is still split in half.
