Jesus SAVES and He saves us from many things. Among them are death and hell but He also delivers us from evil. He saves us from ourselves and our sin. Sin is a heavy matter and it can literally crush the soul. David was a great man but not even David could not handle his sin, no man can. Sin, like ice on the wings of a jet, creates a burden. Jets fly at such high altitudes that they have to have defrosters on their wings. If these defrosters stop working, the ice will continue to build up until the weight is too much for the plane to bear. Sin works much the same way, the guilt of sin keeps building up until we have a burden that is too heavy to bear. Nothing weighs us down like sin and nothing is more liberating than the forgiveness we have in Christ. Hallelujah, what a Savior!
Jesus also saves us from the power of evil. He taught us in the model prayer to pray…“Deliver us from evil.” The word ‘evil’ is ponērós, it is derived from a word that means ‘hurtful.’ It refers to all sorts of evil: degeneracy(sexually perverted), indifference, disease, moral culpability (criminal guilt), dereliction, vicious, facinorous (atrociously wicked), mischief, malice, guilt, sin and the devil. Evil is a broad word and evil is real. David talks about those who refuse to repent…David said, “Surely God will crush the heads of His enemies…those who go on in their sins.” Refusing to repent will result in our ultimate destruction. If I saw a person cuddling a rattle snake, I would declare the person to be insane but it is a greater insanity to cuddle sin.
The kingdom of darkness, made up of all who are in rebellion against God {men or angels}, is powerful because it is orchestrated by the prince of darkness: we are talking about Satan the diabolical master mind of the coup. He and his forces are relentless. Evil never takes a day off; it never relents or gives up. We are in a spiritual war and we can lose this particular battle if we don’t pray. The forces of evil have come after our PRESIDENT. I am not advocating that Trump is a born again Christian or a good man. He is depraved but so am I. He is a business man who understands what the federal government is doing to small business, free enterprise and he wants to drain the swamp [the un-elected Washington bureaucracy that has been put in place by Wilson, Roosevelt and the all the demos since]. Trump is no hypocrite, he has never pretended to be a saint. He was at one time a democrat but he saw what they were doing to the middle class and to the religious right. He knew they had disenfranchised the reds, the hunters, gun owners, bible believers and hard working tax payers. He is the first president since Reagan to identify with us and our problems. He has done more for Pro-life and Christian causes than any president in modern history and the left is furious. They are full of hate and vengeance and they have vowed to destroy TRUMP. Listen carefully, they will succeed, just like they did with NIXON unless God intervenes and stops them. This is why we must pray. The only way to save this President is to pray.
There is hope. The recent breaking news about Martin Luther King’s sexual exploits will hopefully distract the left. They made King one of their icons and now the facts are out about his low view of women. How are the feminazi’s going to handle the King affair–watching and consenting to a woman being raped. Plus we have seen two planks being ripped off of the evil house of abortion. I’ve been praying daily for the LORD to level this evil institution. He may be doing just that; at least I am hopeful. But we still need to pray. Pray for God to give our President wisdom beyond his years and for divine protection from the evil one.
All the icons created by the left: Roosevelt, Kennedy, King and Obama are fabricated heroes. The TRUTH will eventually take them all down. The left lies. They believe that perception is reality which makes them idiots. God determines reality and 2+2 is still 4. Time does not alter facts. Morality is not at the mercy of evolution. What was wrong six thousand years ago is wrong today.
Get a load of this garbage: the left is out to destroy Chick-fil-A. The most recent battleground – airport food halls. Lawmakers in San Antonio and Buffalo banned Chick-fil-A from opening franchises – strictly because of the restaurant chain’s religious beliefs.
They claimed Chick-fil-A supports anti-gay hate groups – like the Salvation Army and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Now – let’s be clear – both of these organizations are well respected – revered Christian ministries. The Left calls them anti-gay because they follow the Bible’s teachings on marriage and sexuality.
And the Miami Beach City Commison is calling on Miami-Dade County to ban Chick-fil-A from the airport there.
I can tell you one thing: the left isn’t making any headway in Alabama. Every Chick-fil-A I see is covered up.
